Picture of Clobryn Pool
WELCOME,
Llanddulas Angling Club was formed in October 1998, When we acquired the lease on Clobryn pool at Llanddulas. Three years later we also acquired the lease on Nant-y-Cerrig. With the help of a grant from the Welsh Sports Council to provide full access for the disabled, work was carried out to improve the quality of the lake, with silt traps and a de-silt pool.
We have provided all weather access to the poolside, with a hardcore pathway all around the lake and 30 wooden platforms at 5 metre intervals.
In March 2007 we introduced about 2000 Common and Mirror Carp which have now attained an average weight of 3 - 4.5 lbs. A further stock of Carp was added in February 2008. The lake also contains large Bream up to 10lbs. and Tench up to 7 lbs. Large Perch up to 3lbs. are also caught occasionally.
Clobryn provides 16 pegs, and contains large numbers of Roach and Crucian Carp with the occasional Tench. Both Mirror and Common Carp are regularly caught, weighing between 4.5 - 7.5 lbs. 100 each of Tench, Bream and Gudgeon were introduced to both our waters between October 2010 and January 2011.
